"I" couldn't believe it! The "Trio" slept in for over eight straight hours. It's usually about 2:00 or 3:00 am that "Me" hits the computer, or "Myself" waddles out in his bathrobe and bunny-rabbit slippers to pick up the morning newspaper for Eagle-Eyes" to read. "Hammerhead" just lays back and relaxes, waiting for something significant to happen in order for him to "hit the nail on the head" with a declaration or quote.

Boxes - or Treasure Chests?

Posted May 11, 2009 3:04:36 PM

Do you remember reading my last blog (Bill's Blog #79, dated 3-16-09), that explained why it was taking so long to clean up the garage and dump some of the boxes that we brought to Petaluma, when we moved here in 1993? Guess what I discovered last week?

Let me sleep - it's only 4 a.m.

The Trio twisted, turned, and finally woke up. What caused them to waddle down to their computer at this hour of the morning?

"Boxes, Boxes, and More Boxes"

Posted March 17, 2009 1:11:30 AM

It's been about three years since I posted my first blog with a reference to "cleaning up the garage." (Bill's Blog #16 - The time has come too -) When we moved to Petaluma in 1993 from the "Big City," I had most of my personal "stuff" in cardboard boxes - about 50 of them. As of August 7, 2008, Bill's Blog #20 reported that there were "over 80 boxes, 35 file drawers, and 65 notebooks to look through." (Where did all that new "stuff" come from?)

Can a new yardstick help?

Posted January 26, 2009 7:48:14 AM

As the Trio was watching TV on Martin Luther King Day and the pre-inauguration events, last week, Hammerhead was seeking "something" that he could announce as "hitting the nail on the head." Eagle-Eyes jumped in and said, "The pieces are coming together for me; we need a new yardstick to help us size-up new legislative proposals, resolutions, community projects, etc that come before various governmental agencies, commission, and/or committees at the at the City, County, State and National level.

"JJ" hits the nail!

Posted January 17, 2009 6:17:32 AM

It took a few days for the Trio (Me, Myself & I) to grasp the full meaning of his column; but, once again, the Trio agreed that "JJ" (Sports Editor for the Argus-Courier) hit the nail on the head with his latest column titled, A new year and a new world for newspapers (nay, the media).
