"Change" is coming -
Let the Public Speak
Happy New Year, once again, readers of this blogosphere. It looks like you're getting two posts in one day. Why? What's the deal?
The first day of 2008, now what?
Yesterday, "Me, Myself & I" posted their final blog for 2007 and then, took off on a sabbatical leave. It's now the first day of 2008; where do we begin? Where do we go from here?
"Where is the media watchdog?"
Eagle-Eyes and Hammerhead won't quit. Here they are, again, this morning with yet another headline to share with our readers. I truly believe they have replaced 'Me, Myself, & I' as blogging addicts. Then, again, maybe they are just competing with each other about who will post the greatest number of blogs. It won't matter as long as what they have to say is meaningful. What headline got them excited today?
Adjusting our sails for a new direction
A quote spotted on the Aqus website, caught Eagle-Eyes' attention and he promptly passed it on to "Hammerhead" who really got excited. He remembered that "Me, Myself, & I" studied John Dewey's philosophy over 50 years ago and is still a strong believer in its application to current societal situations.
Another Great River Town
Although "Me, Myself & I" are still on sabbatical, Eagle-Eyes and Hammerhead thought that their readers in Petaluma might enjoy the following items found in the newspaper of another historic "river town" -. the Tri-Cities in the State of Washington.

About this blog
Bill Hammerman
Bill Hammerman's blog shares reflections on how the information and technology world of today impacts Petaluma. In addition, from time to time, the following themes are addressed: "Then & Now," "Web of Life," "Our Community," and "Remembering Bill Soberanes." When he can't concentate on just one topic, look for a "GLOB." Following a 40-year career as an educator, Bill is now a community volunteer who founded Petaluma Electronic Network (PEN) in 1996, the Petaluma CyberCity Roundtable (PCCR) in 1998, the Petalumans of Yesteryear in 1998, and the Petaluma Alliance for Local Emergency Response Teams (ALERT) in 2006.
