The Trio twisted, turned, and finally woke up. What caused them to waddle down to their computer at this hour of the morning?
Me thought about the cleaning up the garage project and said,
"No wonder the boxes aren't getting thrown out! Look what's on the calendar for the next five days."
Myself wondering what the Argus-Courier staff was going to say to their Petaluma360 bloggers who would be getting together later this morning. The "professional" journalist will be helping the "amateur" journalists improve their blogging skills.
I was beside himself, because he had to participate in three Emergency Preparedness events over the next few days. There was the Radio Communications class for the Petaluma CERT program (tonight, in fact), the annual county-wide CERT Challenge field exercise on Saturday, and the final course drill for the 10th Petaluma CERT class on Monday at Fire Station #2. Whew! No wonder I isn't getting much sleep.
Hammerhead is looking forward to the Community Awards Night at the Sheraton Hotel, sponsored by the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce and the Petaluma Argus-Courier. This annual event honors local citizens who have stepped up to the plate and helped make our community a better place to live, work, learn, and to raise a family. Their achievements and contributions certainly "hit the nail on the head" as examples of community service and volunteerism at its best.
Eagle-Eyes is wondering how many of these community activities and events will make it to our local news media in the form of a headline. Maybe his fellow bloggers will help do the job. Stay tuned.
