"I" am retiring from being "retired!"

Posted July 1, 2009 12:14:44 AM

Me and Myself are not sure this is a good idea for I, at this time; therefore, The Trio have a slight problem on their hands. Eagle-Eyes wonders, "What kind of headline will that be for your readers to see? Hammerhead's only comment is, "That statement will not hit the nail on the head, you better rethink what you just said."

A New Toy for the Trio

Posted June 8, 2009 5:22:19 PM

This new toy is called a yo-yo. Me, Myself, & I have discovered not only a new meaning for the "up & down" motion of a yo-yo, but we have also created a new acronym. Some new readers might wonder what this is all about, so they will have to read a few of the 43 Emergency Preparedness blogs that have been posted, following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Newspaper Headlines - Then (2003) & Now (2009)

Posted May 23, 2009 1:16:25 PM

Since last Thursday was Green Waste pick-up day for our neighborhood, "The Trio" decided to go through a few more boxes of "stuff" (or "treasures" as we stated in a recent blog) in an effort to clean up the garage. (This project has been a "work in progress" for years) "Hammerhead" thought it would be a waste (no pun intended) of time and decided to sit on the sidelines and observe "Me, Myself & I" sift through stacks of old notes, files, magazines and yes - newspapers - like our local Petaluma Argus-Courier and The Press Democrat.

Boxes - or Treasure Chests?

Posted May 11, 2009 3:04:36 PM

Do you remember reading my last blog (Bill's Blog #79, dated 3-16-09), that explained why it was taking so long to clean up the garage and dump some of the boxes that we brought to Petaluma, when we moved here in 1993? Guess what I discovered last week?

Our City Council - Then & Now (1858-2009)

Posted April 19, 2009 12:06:36 AM

At this time last year, April - 2008), Petaluma was riding high with its Sesquicentennial Celebration as a city. A special City Council presentation was made by "Mr. William Howard Pepper" and "Mr. Isaac Wickersham" that outlined various events that lead up to the Declaration of Petaluma as an incorporated City on April 12, 1858.

The S.F. Earthquake of 1906! What if it happens again?

Posted April 17, 2009 7:05:25 AM

A few years ago, at this time, the mass media was alive with all sorts of photos, facts, data, and information pertaining to the centennial celebration of the great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. Now, three years later, I have yet to see anything related to this year's anniversary on April 18th. You ask, So what? What if it happens again? (And, it will!)
